do you not have a ladies shalter there ware you can stay they will help you get a loyar and get you set up in an apartment ..............i dont know how your living areangments are now but when you get a place you can get some one like a police offecer to go back home with you to take out what you need ................i realy you feel better you dond deserve to be abused ................and are one of the luckly ones that have goten out try to stay out ................................god bless..................i hope you have someone to hepl you i will keep you in my prayers

You are doing the right thing remember your children learn form you and who ever else that you allow in their lives. Don't let your daughter think that its OK for her boy friend or husband to hit her cause she did something that they didn't want her to do. don't Let your son think its OK to hit a woman. doing what you did took a lot of guts. go and don't look back.

You mean go back to the abusive environment? If so, you are suffering from a syndrome that happens to most abused people who 'get away'. They are glad to be away from the abuse, but sad to be away from the 'good part'. That IS the problem ... 'back' is 'back to ABUSE' to say the least.

Oh .. you did what was right. NOW, you need to figure out what is 'right' next. As a woman, . with children .. who left an abusive situation, there are TONS of agencies that will help you.

Take a direction AWAY from that situation .. not towards it. If you act quickly and effectively, you can gain shelter, food, medical care, protection etc in a matter of hours. Get busy .. and don't take any steps backward.

Yes, you did the right thing. Take a mental inventory of what you left behind. If is is too much you can consider going to a judge and getting an order (and police support) to have your things returned to you.

Home can never be with an abuser. You are doing the right thing. When you make this kind of decision, you got to stick to it.

The stuff about the women's shelter? I hope you listen. And if you don't have a women's shelter, there is sure to be a police station. You are entitled to the services our society provides for women with children in your situation. Please do not fail to make use of them.

We do have a womens shelter in my community and i will be taking advantage of their services. I had already spoken with the therapist they offer and will start with my appointments next week. She gave me one question to ponder until next week...would i want to live the next year of my life the way i have the last year?

I'd assume your answer to the question would be a definite no. You've made a good first step to break away from an abusive relationship, use that as a little boost to keep you going to live the life you want, for you and your kids.
