Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I'm still really lonely. Moving to a new city hasn't helped me meet anyone. I still look at myself in the mirror everyday and realize I'm not even attracted to myself. I keep living for the day that things will turn around, that someone will be attracted to me, that I'll live a normal social life like those annoying normies do, but it'll never happen. I'd rather die now than know I'll be lonely for years and years and years.
What's even worse is, nobody understands my pain. I know I can't talk about this with anybody because I'll be ridiculed. Therapy hasn't helped at all. I don't have the ambition to do anything with my life. Sure, I'll probably finish my grad degree and get a decent job and be well off financially, but that doesn't mean anything when you have nobody to share your happiness with. (Oh wait, what happiness? There isn't any!)
I told myself about nine months ago that if things didn't change in two years, I'll end it. Only 15 months left.
