Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
The loss of your father must be awful. It seems that circumstances have gotten out of control since then. If you are interested I can message you some links to free resources. I used them when my aunt passed away. After she passed away (my boyfriend left me at this same time) I was abusing substances and had issues with my job...just kind of went into a tailspin after that. I didn't really know what to do, either.
Take care,

I lost my father when I was 9 yrs old. Trust me. It does get better.
You don't have to learn the hard way, to lean on God. I choice the hard way and I was self destructive. I had so much anger. At my dad, my mom, myself.
I am now in my 60s, and it has been a roller coaster, but, I wouldnt give it up for anything. It took what it took to make me who I am now.
It will get better. Reach out to God. You can cry out to Him. He cares. My prayer for you is that He puts someone in your life that is a Christian.
Everything you said is almost exactly what she told me on the phone
and I've been through all of this myself.
I won't tell you it gets easier but I will say that it will be easier to deal ❤️ People are not like that everywhere. Maybe it's just your school or your town. You will find the right people who get it and don't treat ya like shit.
If you want a light at the end of the tunnel I have been where you are and I am 25 :) my life is far from perfect but I have managed to find real & honest friends. I still talk to my mama. I go do things I would do with her when she was alive like restaurants or buy books. It don't bring her back but it keeps her with me.
One more light? All your jerk friends who think they're such hot shit now are gonna be crying to you in ten years because now they're goin through their own things. All mine did.
It's a statistic. If there are 10 people in a room, 5 are indifferent, 2 like you and 1 may be your true soulmate or best friend.
You will find things you enjoy again. It's just hard when everything feels like shit. Don't put too much pressure on yourself. Your doing good for havin to go it alone. There are people on your side, you just might not have met them yet.
And hey I like you! I don't want you to kill your self. I want you to stay alive ❤️ I want to tell my sister I talked to someone who's in her shoes. Who knows? Maybe knowing that saves her life too
What about seeing a counselor or a school psychologist? It can help to talk about things with adults in such positions.
You are young and have a lot of years ahead of you. Being a teenager is rough, but set a goal to reach your 20s and take it one day at a time.
