Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I am a lot older than you but I can understand why you cut. I am a trustworthy person and would be glad to talk to you. You need someone to talk to.
You have your entire life ahead of you. My life is mostly behind me. I do have a daughter and I know the pear pressure and all that other stuff.
Please let me know you are alright?

i left home at your age (which i do not suggest) because i couldn't deal with the drama. what i discovered was that life in the 'real world' was much tougher, but my pride wouldn't allow me to turn back.
do you have a driver's license, or is there public transportation you could use to take yourself to therapy?
The people at school -- they may have been trying to reason w/ your dad w/o alienating him or getting antagonistic. I would still talk to the counselor there. He limits your access to everything else. You *need* some outlet where you can voice your pain and your concerns. Your feelings are 100% valid -- don't ever let him convince you otherwise!
Your dad is a mystery to me.
I really think you need to start coming up with a plan to get out of his control. When you turn 18 you won't be legally bound to your Dad but you may not have the resources you need to get away.
So no public transportation?
