Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
It doesnt get much better when we are older either.

Hang in there; there are lots of good guys out there, but they tend not to be the ones trying to pick up chicks at clubs or other obvious places, so it's harder to meet them.
As I got older, I just recognized it as a form of communication. If you are wrong about what it appears to be, then they will tell you so. If they don't want to take the time to tell you so, then they never will take the time. The bright side? You'd be unhappy with this jerk anyway.... I'd rather be happy.
P.S. Even though women put the effort in, the "men" still don't think that there is "a reason to apply effort to gain something". I think they should reevaluate what they think they will gain, and reevaluate the meaning of love. It's not always about what you gain. sheesh
Yes, it is a human thing, not just male or female. As a male I can tell you the same thing happens from both sexes in my life. Not sexual with men of course but a sudden change of attitude and no words is hard to fathom.
I just assume those that do that are shallow and not wirth knowing. I make a point of telling anyone if I'm pissed off at them and sick of their behaviour etc. Maybe that's why many don't do it, they are afraid of the reaction. I think it's necessary as I've had a few times when I still have no idea why things happened. That's bad behaviour.
I will say that the mobile phone has changed human begaviour to make it rather pettyy and brief. Some people even break up by text. Imagine that! Texting and mobiles have made it easy to be aggressive and rude when face to face it would never happen.
Not sure what particpating meant from the other poster but I don't think he was referring to anything other than communication.
I think many have had this happen, and many have done it.
I hope I've explained my non-interest, but some guys don't want to hear it, think they can change my mind. Then POOF!...I disappear. I hope they are not hurt, I tried to explain.
It makes me wonder if a guy is so interested, and all of a sudden stops communicating....is it something I did? I keep coming up with "no". Then just move on.
I can't stand pressure, and I'm not going to pressure myself.
Keep your head up. Every man is not like that.
Hugs, Sweetie.
