I am sitting here watching the masters after playing golf today and feel terrible i have been suffering the last 2 weeks with anxiety/depression and feel terrible. I take klonopin for anxiety and after playing today took a nap and when i wake from naps i feel terrible. I feel like i am going nuts and don't know what to do. During the golf I didn't feel that bad and played pretty good but my moods change so quickly. I hate this. What should I do

I went through a period when I would feel horrible when I woke too...like my mind just couldn't get focused or something. I just remember it being an awful feeling. Have you addressed the depression yet? That would be where I would start.

I go through the same thing. Every morning I wake up and feel anxious and depressed. The only way I can get it under control is to get up and take my dog for her morning walk, then it starts to subside for the time being. You are not alone with how you feel. I always wondered why this would happen and didn't realize others felt it too. It just seems strange to wake up that way.

I agree that the mood swings are terrible to handle. Nights are my worst. I guess it's all the time to analyze and think. Exercise helps me too....and wine and dark chocolate LOL

One thing that helped me was to jump right out of bed and not lay there and dwell on how I was feeling. As I got moving it would subside and the really horrible feelings would go away.
