I'm not sure if it caused your scoliosis to worsen,but as far as I know, one is born with scoliosis :) but you know, regardless, even if I don't know you---
Sometimes is life--things aren't always clichéd "perfect", but there is the greatest beauty in imperfections. Sometimes the true skill in life is to see the beauty in imperfection. I don't know you, but--- you are beautiful, in every way possible. Sometimes it is difficult to believe that, I know- but appreciate the imperfections, sometimes what makes you different, is your greatest strength.

Honestly, the more I see in my work, and the more I live in a day, I come to realise that hammering ourselves about the could-have, would-have, should-have's everyday, is so ... pointless. We only have one life, we should live as much in every moment we have, Sometimes the past , the hardships we made it through or are making it through, only helps us for something greater, or gives us the ability and compassion to help others.
So( sorry got a bit off track there) -- don't beat yourself up about the could-have, would-have, should-have's , if you don't know yet. The knowledge will come, but find a reliable source,
And, live life, with all its glorious glitches and uncertainties, because sometimes, that is where the most wonder lies.
