Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I'm at work. I've posted here before and you've helped.
My job was given to someone less qualified, who doesn't know what they're doing. I feel betrayed there, but then they also gave her employee of the month. I have social anxiety (due to an abusive relationship that caused my ptsd) so i can't do the customer service aspect. I try to look for a different job, but I don't get so much as a call back.
I've lost my fiends due to my behavior before, during, and after my relationship. I stifle to find new ones. My depression keeps me in bed or on the couch moat days and is hard to find motivation to do anything, even the things that I used to love doing.
I'm feeling worthless, both in my job and my personal life. I don't know why I'm even here, why I should still be here, because I've never caused anyone so much grief as I did my old friends and now I miss them so much it hurts.
I have reasons to carry on, to keep going, but even they are staying to look small in this grand scheme. It's so hard and right now I'm losing this fight. I don't want to sleep, but that's all I can do. I'm so tired all the time.
