Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I believe in blessings. we take things for granted. that human nature,
I believe ea and every one have blessing ea and every day.
I thank God everyday for being able to breath on my own, and that I can dress myself. I only pee on myself when I laugh to hard, lol
It is good that you know it cycle. I assume it has pattern. can you chart the different stage in pattern. I wonder if that is possible.
I know every June I become clumsy and always half tp go to hospital. I always accidently seem to brake toe bone. I know I have seasonal depression. Cold winter weather and short day light get me every year. I can tell when I start to become depressed. I start pigging out on crunchy type foods.
I plan for tomarrow and pretty much know where I am in process of stages of cycle. we can understand our own illness and how to use them to help us have some peace. for me it like start all over again each day but I know it just a cycle. It just a part of my life.
Sorry for ramble. I hope something in my yadda is benifitual.
ya I think I like you.
may you have better day. X

@eshaw I understand how you feel as a I experienced a similar instance when I put my all into something and it didn't turn too much in the end. Pretty bad, a really, really dark time for me that still affects me know. And I won't give up, I refuse too, there's a reason why I won't (my dream) also thanks I guess I am strong :) I been told that before but I have had my bad days as others do too. I just keep hanging on, I'm hanging on a rope most days and tie knot when I think I'm gonna fall kind of lol
@alana and I'm sure being a perfectionist has something to do with it. It's ridiculous at times because I forget that I'm not healthy and that I have too give myself a break. Everyday's a battle with this for me it seems. I'm trying my best to break it. Yes I'm seeing a therapist she's good but where I live (Louisiana) the health laws are pretty bad, so like every 6 months to year I get a new one. I've had better ones and worse therapists but she helps me a lot. The meds I'm on are prozac, klonopin and at the moment they seem to work to degree. I been on a lot of typical others(remeron, trazodone, paxil etc.) before. I've been seeing a psych since around the time my mom died(7 years ago) and I had a pretty bad emotional breakdown, went to inpatient facility for a few days etc. That's pretty much when everything came down for me but at the same time I started getting treatment for things that were killing me so much.
@Mandy I'll try that. Thanks!
And thanks again everybody :)
