Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

I really understand where you're coming from. I'm a college student myself, but I took a huge break before continuing to pursue my degree. I can tell you through the people I've met in the different industries I've worked in, one of the most astounding stories I keep hearing is how most of the people I've met are in careers that are very different from their majors. Granted, if you're aiming for a STEM degree or something super specialized/technical, I can understand your frustration too. It's never too late to carve a different path for yourself if something you thought was "it" is no longer serving you. You'd be amazed at how many people in the world haven't had a straight shot into the careers they currently have.
I know it's not ideal for you to make a complete 180 and switch majors, but is there any way to pursue what you love doing on the side as a minor, or even get a certificate in it? It's so incredibly important to balance passion projects with other work that you don't find as appealing so that it gives you the power to push through the discomfort.
I'm wishing you the best. Please let me know how you're doing!
Are there resources at your school for counseling? If so, take advantage of that help and all the helpers near you. You're not alone in this and the time to ask for help is when you need it.
I saw something the other day online which you may want to watch. Do a web search for persistence and a baby bear. Be kind to yourself
