I Can't Seem To Find The Holiday Spirit This Year

This year I am having trouble being all cheery. I have no money for gifts. I can't even afford a decent gift for my girlfriend. I feel like crap for that.

Doubt I'll even get a present on the day this year. I was over Christmas a long time ago! It does come back when there are children around sometimes tends to put the magic back in the air.

I have no art skills. My family isnt helping the situation either. They are basically asking me to choose to spend the day with them over my girlfriend and I feel whatever choice I make I am screwed.

What the travel time between the two it's a long day and your not married so family comes before her.I'd really question the relationship if she didn't feel that was important to you if she wants to become part of yours. And stop being difficult. We all have our own skills even if it's baking home made cookies. To making a bunch of cards that can be exchanged for goods ie one hug, one massage , one trip out in the future of your choosing... get creative man!

What's the travel time between the two. Can you spend lunch at one dinner at the other even just a couple of hour with the GF on the day is better then nothing.

I also forgot breakfast. Had a nice Christmas breakfast with an EX on one Christmas day exchanged Presents etc just the two of us before doing the family duties.

Ok here Is the deal my family doesn't like my girlfriend. She Is not really welcome for christmas at my aunt's house, That really pisses me off because she Is the one that Is there for me. She Is the reason I don't jump off a fucking bridge. My brother's girlfriend Is welcome but mine Isn't because my mom lies to everyone about my girlfriend. I can't take this shit no more. Every fucking holiday this shit happens and It pisses me off. I can't take it anymore. I just want everyone to get along but for whatever reason my mom doesn't wanna do that.

Been too much going on, money like you said, and stress, and health and ................ ok there's no Excuse (a lot of Reasons but no excuse) ....... It's just not in me this time. And I've got a 3 year old!!!!!!!! I can't Get it ...............
