In addition to depression, anxiety, and insomnia medication as well as high blood pressure meds, I have TWO inhalers for my asthma which has returned in full force...my question is this...does anyone know which is the rescue inhaler and which is the other one - just the daily treatment inhaler?
the two inhalers I have are Symbicort and Proventil... I used to know, but with everything that I have on my mind and all these damn medications that I have to take, I've gotten confused...
any ideas...I really hate to use the phone to call the 24-hour nurse...I hate using the phone to call anyone...much less a phone call that makes me sound like an idiot...

I'm not familiar with asthma inhalers, but I do know the Symbicort commercials always use the disclaimer "Remember, SYMBICORT is not a rescue inhaler and is not for treating sudden asthma symptoms". It also states this on their website, which I will include below.

Knowing this, I'm guessing the other would be your rescue inhaler. I hope this helps! If you don't feel comfortable calling your doctors office, maybe you can try calling the pharmacist who fills your prescription? Just a thought in case you have any questions about your medication that you need to be answered.
