Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Let me tell you that it is good to have friends who support you, but the more the better.
Do your parents know that you feel this way about yourself? Parents of teenagers can be kind of dumb, if you don't specifically tell them you feel like _____(ex: they don't love you) because _______ (something they said, did, or didn't do). It's not that they're necessarily actually dumb, it's just that they don't read minds, forget what it was like to be a teen, and are living in their own experience at the moment, which you might try to imagine their perspective. You will probably have more of an impact getting through to them by telling them how they affect you, than what is commonly called, "Acting out".
I wrote a poem called, "Do you love me?" to express how I felt unloved and worthless.
I'm guessing you are still in high school, if so, I'd seek a counselor and let them know what's going on.
P.S. If you give up on life, you give up on every potential you can contribute toward it.
