Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I am going to warn you...this is a very sad story. Here it goes...I am 26 years old, my parents have both remarried with new kids and are both millionaires who lead a life of luxury which includes several vacations a year and partying. My grandmother and mother took me away from my father and told him if he tries to be involved with me they will make up lies that he molested me. I haven't seen my father since I was 8 years old. Fast forward until the time I am 19 years old, I am pregnant and overwhelmed with so much joy that I am going to have a family of my own.My grandmother and mother tell me I am not allowed to have a boyfriend or a child and they think I am better off alone for the rest of my life. They call CPS and tell them lies that i torture my pets, i do drugs and i am likely to molest or beat my child. CPS tells me if i want to keep my child i will have to get rid of my house and move into a maternity home...once there they take my son away and the maternity home kicks me out on the street...I am childless and homeless for 2 years. My mother and grandmother refused to give me any money or support and tell me to get over my child being taken that its no big deal and that i am better off alone in life. I lost my mind and didn't care about anything after that. I would self-medicate by getting extremely intoxicated. One day my drink got drugged and I was raped by two men who knowingly were std infected while they raped me. 6 months later my pap smear comes back positive for precancerous cells...the doc tells me its nothing to worry about but doesn't tell me its hpv...so i go on to infect my current bf, he was pissed but knew that at the time the stupid doc did not tell me it was hpv. Anyways, my bf knows that if we have any kids in the future they will either get snatched by cps or be born with hpv....great. I have been so depressed and find myself day after day staring at my wall and can't get out of bed. My bf's idea of a great night is getting wasted as i watch him play video games all night...what a great time! He gets verbally abusive with me only when he's drunk. I beg and plead for him not to drink around me and he still does it. I found myself falling in love with my boss and I know he's interested in me too and has asked me out on several dates. I declined each and every time because I am already in a relationship, i am a diseased infested rat and if he did get together and have kids they will be taken by CPS...i come with so much problems i couldn't do that to him he has a future with finding a nice wife and having a family. I heard that you can contract hpv even from casual kissing. I feel like i have been deprived of so many things in my life due to my mother and grandmother who don't take responsibility for what they have done to me and tell me to stop feeling sorry for me that its no big deal. I have to fight for every single thing that normal people have such as a loving partner and children. I am damaged for life. I am so depressed all the time. I can't eat, I can sleep, I can't get over this dark mood i find myself in. I have been contemplating suicide. I don't think anyone can fix my problems but feel free to leave suggestions.

I know information alone cannot cure a condition like depression, but it is comforting to know that soon God will rid the earth of wicked people and bring an end to all forms of suffering. Revelation 21:4 says, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."
I hope you can find peace in your heart.
If you have any friends who can help, I'd take a day out and go and speak to a lawyer, and talk about issues such as domestic violence and custody issues.
There are domestic violence shelters available. There is also counseling available.
Narcissists and sociopaths would have us believe that we are evil and bad and no good. Okay, so yes, you might have some mental issues-depression or addiction or whatever...............BUT
1. You are a person.
2. You deserve to be treated with respect and love.
3. You write well, so obviously you are intelligent and have function.
It might take a few years, but it can be done-you can manage yourself. There also have got to be some sort of support group somewhere for HPV survivors or whatever.
Don't give up--Try. Remember the picture of the frog who strangles the bird that is about to eat it.
Please don't' give up. Rape is never fun. I never stood up to my rapist and today he's probably somewhere healthy and happy. However, these depraved souls are not worth your time nor mine. They violated us and they deserve criminal charges.
