Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

Hot baths DO HELP.
A hot shower can do the same thing, yes.
And, taking it slow is important as well.
Take a day. Just chill and relax. Watch a good movie. Sleep. Eat right.
Then, when you feel better, make goals.
UPDATE coming soon...as soon as I recover from THIS episode!!!
You bring me back to my college days. I hated the rush at the end of the semesters. Tests to take and papers to write. High stress!!!!
Wishing you the best
It cannot be easy being a med student in general. I am happy to report though, that it can be done. One of my brothers-in-law is a nurse practicioner for NYU and he did this late in life.
I could not do what you are doing and I admire you so much for it.
I know that for me, anxiety comes with stress and of course, with all of the weather changes as well, our sinuses are probably way off whack all accross the nation. Yes, sinuses can really be very serious and contribute to stress because a person cannot think straight with all that allergic stuff going on. I would even wager that it gets almost to having migraines it can get so bad.
I'd take a few days off and then try to work with the doctor on finding anti anxiety meds. A word about klonapin--K. can be helpful short term but too much or too little can cause mild dementia and other problems, so be really careful if you try it. There are tons of other meds that can help.
Again, I am sorry for my ignorant post the other day and I wish you all of the best. I'm not sure how my brother in law does it but it is a special and wonderful type of person who can be a nurse practioner.
