Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I'm looking for a job too, I have a stinking masters degree and can't seem to work less than 60 hr's a week or make more than 25,000 a year. Are my best days behind me? I don't know. I'm trying for NO to that question. And no matter what anybody says to me, I still struggle with it all. I've gone back on meds again, going to the free clinic but I have the best doctors.
I don't think you're weak. What is the business outlook where you live? Can you get some training or maybe get or finish your degree? Im a teacher but fixing to go back to restaurants, enough demand and enough salary, if I take some initiative. But I'm pissed off, I shouldn't have to leave my profession, it's bull crap, so I'm pitching a fit about mine for sure. Give yourself a break. Even if it's small, what do you like about yourself? What are the things that you get right? Hugs, friend. The world will beat on us, let's try to be kind to ourselves. I'm talking to myself too : )
The one big thing that comes to my mind for you is WORK AT HOME. This is exploding and there are TONS of legitimate opportunities.
Google WORK AT HOME and you will find them.
Oh my goodness, No good! that is a house full.
While you've got some income and a roof over your head maybe you should
really work on yourself. This will pass though it doesn't feel like it will. And try to get rid of that shame and guilt and cut yourself some slack. Glad that you're reaching out here.
Try rat race rebellion. They are mainly customer service jobs.
