Has anyone tried hypnosis or acupuncture treatment for depression? Did it work? Any pros and cons?

Whatever works. Neither is PARTICULARLY known to treat clinical depression. Can't hurt to try though. Don't get scammed.

I wouldn’t want to be hypnotized unless someone i trusted was there. Who knows what they could suggest. As for acupuncture it helped my shoulder when I tore my rotator cuff. I would try acupuncture before hypnosis, but a doctor of some sort should be involved too. A psychologist psychiatrist therapist counselor. Even your general practitioner. Good luck I hope it helps

Hey sweethalf87. Hope your doing well today. I have tried acupuncture 2-3 times, no help. Never hypnosis. I keep hearing it doesn't help. I try to listen to youtube videos of deep meditation, hypnosis for insomnia, depression, anxiety, etc. Actually helps put me at ease and fall asleep sometimes. Micheal Sealey is one of them and another one that I like is Jason Stephenson. Hope it helps. Hugs to all.
