Gtb100, I'm sorry that you're going through a rough time right now. If you share some more specific details on what you're dealing with, I'm sure there would be many of us who would like to provide some words of encouragement and advice. Take care!

I have been juggling work and school pretty much. I have anxiety and it's gotten bad to the point that I over think and overworry. I ended up getting fired over little things and was denied unemployment. I got as new job but it doesnt start for a few weeks. So now there's more things to worry about. Depression took over and I'm either too tired or just unable to sleep

I’m sorry you feel as if everything is crashing down on you! Would you be willing to speak to a pastor or a counselor? They would sit with you and let you unload all that is coming at you. Perhaps they would have some words of wisdom for you. Life can be so overwhelming and sometimes we just need to take a break and tackle one thing at a time. I do hope the best for you. Reach out and ask for help!

Thank you for your responses. I'm afraid to see a counselor or professional because i am worried about how they would react. I'm also afraid of taking medication. But I'm also afraid of possibly hurting myself

Gtb100...I understand you are hesitant to contact a counselor due to their reaction but I feel that this is their occupation and that they truly desire to help people. They go to school to learn about all sorts of different behaviors and personalities. Please don't be afraid to reach out for some help. Tell the counselor what is happening within you and around you. You can also explain to him/her your apprehension of going on medication. I can only speak from my own experience but as a client/patient (whatever the case my be) you do have the right to voice your concerns. You will know if that counselor/doctor is right for you. If not, then keep looking until you find somebody you trust. Your family doctor can help point you in the right direction if you need some guidance in finding the right therapist. Prayers!!
