Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
If you can't manage this, you need to go to the doctor or counselling service at your university. Don't wait. Don't dilly dally. You have problems but you also have deadlines. If you want your girlfriend and your life back you will have to do what it takes whether you believe in it or not. Otherwise it'll all disappear and you'll have to learn this lesson the hard way.
You can do this.
My advice is to set small, achievable goals....like, getting up and dressed in the morning. Then, small goals through out your day. Then, reward yourself daily for reaching these goals. Get some post it notes, write affirmations on them...like, "Your worth it!" or "You CAN do this!!" Or scripture affirmations,,,like "Matthew 28:20 (NKJV)
and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen." or "1 Kings 1:40 New Life Version (NLV)
40 They were playing music and were filled with joy. The earth shook with all the noise."
Or, even colored dots every where...reminders to think positive!!!
I wish you well
