just rough right now... when you start to pick yourself up, something else knocks you down...

got fired from my job of 5 years b/c i had to go to the emergency room for a severe panic attack... though they knew of my condition..... the only day of work i missed in 5 years... grrrr!

i used to crave all this free time, but now i loathe having it.... too much time to think. i feel sluggish and useless.

i contacted a lawyer, and since i have too much pride to take the job back if they were forced to rehire me, he said i probably wouldn't benefit enough to bother from it filing anything against them.

and i was 2nd in charge, managing 80 employees.... never had a write up or anything. i thought i did a good job.

apparently because of my condition i am "no longer a reliable left-hand man to help the business succeed"

I find people with problems like us get picked on as if they haven't experienced depression they don't get it as generally we look ok pn the outside but crushed inside.x

right.... they think depression and anxiety is just this thing you can get over... they look at you funny when you try to explain it is a disease.

i shoulda brought that up and asked if he would still be firing me if i had cancer instead of depression?

i mean, i understand being depressed has probably affected my job performance.. but almost any illness could.... cancer, pneumonia.... all effect your life in some way or other..... but depression you can't see or understand as well. let me just snap my fingers and get over it, yeah!
