just an observation I’ve made the past few days. I recently came down with the give ups. You know when you just don’t care anymore “again” so you drift through the days like a zombie. Funny thing is it started last week. I went to a baseball game with some friends and while I did have a good time, as soon as I got in the car for the ride home I got the why always me blues. Then the same day the following week got a reminder of everything when a friend of the family past away and went to the wake. I still had the grumpies whow’ways what even there called but seem to have bounced back today. Now to the point... I’m sure most of you heard about Anthony Bourdain. That right there just goes to show you that this disease and I consider depression and anxiety a disease is truly frightening. The man had money fame companions and still. Someone posted here a few weeks ago that they have a good life so why are they so down in the dumps, and I am in a similar position. The fact of the matter is depression doesn’t care who it is. It doesn’t matter at all about anything. That’s a little scary to me, but I choose to keep fighting. Hopefully I continue to have that attitude, and that all of you do too. Take care everyone, and do something nice for yourself. Even something as simple as going to 7-11 and getting a cold slurpie on a hot Sunday. That’s what I’m doing tomorrow getting a cherry and coke mixed slurpie and I’m going to enjoy the heck out of it.
A number were not just depressive personalities. They were highly bipolar. A worse condition than just depression.

I have a friend that's border line bipolar. She has a hard enough time, but says she's not suicidal.
Its odd that Anthony commited suicide like he did. They said he must have quickly made the decision to hang himself. Took the belt from his bathrobe.... And that was that.
As far as Anthony, we will never know how often he may have contemplated the act before deciding to do it. Successful suicides require some real thought. Hugs to all.
