My boyfriend break up with me tonight. I mentioned before, we were long-distance. Completing six months together this week. As I wasn't feeling well, almost everytime we were able to talk I was complaining about everything cause my life is just a mess now and I feel like shit, useless, worthless. My bf tried to help, but he was being cold with me and I wasn't feeling important to him, and I told him I think there is no space for me in his life. So yeah, he told me because of his work he won't be able to give me attention, and when he can talk to me I would just complain about not receiving attention, or because I find him too cold, so this is not going to work and it's better we break up. It hurts a lot, I already feel so lonely, so shitty, nobody cares about me, and now the closest person is going away... I made too many plans, and the time we spent together was amazing, I had other boyfriends before but I never had the chance to be so close to someone... I tried my best to be good for him and to let him know how much I love him and how much he is special... but I always fuck with everything, everybody always get tired of me, whatever if it takes weeks, months or years, I always push everybody away. It's all my fault, I should have tried harder, complained less, argued less about stupid shit... but it's late now and with all the plans I made, I feel like a part of me is dying. It's all my fault. I can't stand being completely alone again, I just can't... please someone help...
So I told him I loved him, there in the dark. And I asked if he loved me. And he said he didn't know.
And I said if he didn't know then he probably didn't.
And that if he didn't love me why were we together?
You can see the supreme stupidity can't you. Yes.
We all cock up relationships. The trick is to put it under our belts, improve our game, lick our wounds, do our crying, and then pull up the old dora panties and get on with things.
You will get another chance at love. We always do. And you will come at it wiser, and calmer, and more careful of the other person.
It hurts, but growing hurts. My heart goes out to you because boy, have I been there. :) Just remember it'll end and you'll be older, wiser, bigger, stronger, and okay again.
