Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

In a marriage I wanted my husband to care and he either didn't know, or didn't care, or both.
Outside a marriage, I wanted to be loved. And then when that fell through it was clear to me: we stand alone on our own two feet and we either make it, or we don't. But any other person in our lives could just as easily be a giant liability as an asset. It's not worth the risk.
not worth the risk. You can stand stable alone provided nobody knocks you over. And if you have to stand stable to provide for your children, that means keeping everyone away.
No point telling someone your woes if you have 3 days of severe panic attack that they might blab that information. No point at all.
So yeah. Don't expect help. Learn how to do it on your own two feet. If you have to talk, talk to a counsellor. They can be relied on not to blab.
I want to assure you that God loves you, He cares about you, He knows when you cry in the night. Psalm 56:8 ~ You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in Your book. This is a reminder that God is concerned with every aspect of your life because of His compassion. It doesn't matter how big or small the sorrow is.
I pray you will feel loved and have better days ahead.
