Everything feels so overwhelming and heavy. Everyday is the same. I take care of my son and try to keep a cool, calm demeanor while inside I am dead, numb. I know I should feel blessed with what I have but I don't. I am empty and living hurts. I am on day 8 of Wellbutrin and hope that soon I might see a ray of hope.

Keep fighting everyone.

i was on Welbutrin when i was first diagnosed about 4 years ago. it wasnt quite strong enough for me tho, it just killed my sex drive..which i guess is good if youre practicing celibacy..lol but i was in college so not so much haha. Hopefully itll help you get some of that heaviness off though, just give it and yourself some time to regroup. the fact that you know you should feel blessed for your son means you want to and thats the most powerful medicine you have; yourself. if your gut says be blessed, than be blessed (which i know is much easier said than done) so give the meds some time to to give you that little push to really seeing the blessings around you.

Thank you both for the replies. I am starting over again and this time around I can't seem to muster the ability to want to fight. I literally have so little strength. I am lonely and afraid. I feel like I am alone it sucks. I know "if nothing changes, than nothing changes"...but I am out of good feelings and happy thoughts. Ugh!

I have heard that Wellbutrin helps a great deal of people. It may take 2 or 3 weeks to work at it's fullest but give it time. Let us know how it's working for you! Hugs GB
