I could never get those "tear here" packages to actually tear open.

I DO have a problem getting an accurate tear. I also tear it open in the wrong place on those packages that are "resealable".

YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!! And worse, the package of Reese's Pieces I was trying to open just got crunched. *sob*
Another good one is the bag o chips. You try and you try, then all of a sudden, the bag opens and rips, sending far too many chips to the floor and other unspecified places to be able to adhere to the 10 second rule.
They do this on porpoise to mess with me poor wittle head. As if life is not full of enough frustrations!!

Geez, I don't know whats wrong with YOU guys, it says "tear here" and if you tear in a reasonably straight line it opens like a dream!

its the glued shut bags that screw with me....M&Ms and candy bags....you pull apart opposite sides, but they never open nicely....always tear down the side and then you have a bag you cant reclose.

Thanks guys, its good to know im not alone in my suffering with me nut packets and i sympathise with you juice on the tablets thing. I have enough problems opening the washing powder boxes and by the time i get it open and pulled back etc ive usually lost most of it on the floor. And once i was devastated when i tried to open a packet of jelly babies in my car and just when i thought it would never open it came open quick and i ended up with just one left in the packet and the rest scattered all over my filthy car floor (sob.) And it was a pink one, which i hate :(

Yep me too muse. I never have a problem closing em. Once them nuts are open, they are gobbled all up, mmmmmmmmm:)

Funny i was just saying to my bf the other night "why is it the tear here never tears here?" His insight - maybe if we didn't buy the cheap store brand they would open easier. LOL

Yeah but these were KP nuts batdog and they are feckin expensive, lolx
