There is such a thing as animal hospice for pets. Check online for your area. I was able to have a vet come out and give the first injection while she was on mom's bed. All it did was help her relax. The second injection came in teh dining room. She was in her kitty bed. It was quiet and quick. No spasms, no pain, She sighed and stopped. She was ready. No one could touch her anymore. It caused her excruciating pain. She reacted by going into a seizure and falling off wherever she was. We got her paw print and a certificate, plus a sympathy card. They were very good. You might try them for your kitty.
Loss is never fun and it is very painful. I pray for comfort and serenity for you.
