Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I have found that a lot of "non depressed" people really don't have a handle on what we mean when we say things about our depression. It would be really good if the people in our lives (BF, GF, Spouse, etc) got it, but since they often don't get it, we need to bend a bit of our terminology to their way of thinking.
Instead of telling your BF that you are suicidal, perhaps telling him that you are feeling overwhelmed by things, and would like him to be there if you need to vent about stuff that is driving you crazy. (Use the word of your choice.
Gentle hugs and again welcome!

Fear of abandonment...is a huge thing with depression...but once that part is over and your alone and have time to adjust and learn who you are...you ultimately will be better off.
You even said....his feelings are making you feel worse....than...(easier said than done) believe me I know...but dump his feelings and work on yours :(
