I know when i have suicidal ideation all i can do is wait until it passes. Im glad you wrote in your journal. Did that help? Tracking our moods can do wonders for our own insight into our sadness. Hun, no. Killing yourself would only bring you MORE suffering. Don't mean to get all religious on you, but death isn't the end. Whether you choose to believe it or not, this life is only a journey to the next, and if you end it by suicide, well, the only thing left is hell. At least when death happens naturally there is a judgement that occurs and we at least have the chance of heaven. Heaven doesn't just happen when we die - it's a reward for how we live our lives here on earth. But if we choose to end our life, that's like saying, "I don't trust You, God. I think You made a mistake by giving me this life." And by doing that, we will be condemning ourselves to hell for eternity.

God doesn't make mistakes. You were put here on this earth for a reason, even if you don't know what that reason is. Hey, we're here for you. Use this site as a place to vent your frustrations - get it out of your system. But, suicide is NOT the answer. I believe you know that, otherwise you wouldn't have come here. I'm glad you did, though. Share your problems and frustrations here. God bless you, dear.

Things always change nothing stays the same. I cant imagine how hard things may be for you right now but it will get better. You just have to keep on going. PM me if you need to share or talk more Im here for you.

I've been there a lot lately. In fact, I ended up calling the suicide hotline yesterday and had to have a friend talk me out of my plan to take myself out. Depression can be so Insidious. You sound like you're doing the right things. I personally love art especially painting and drawing. And I'm big on Journal writing. I recommend a book called the depression cure. It has a silly marketing type title but I saw a TED Talk by the author and was convinced that his research made sense. He is not anti medication but his research has helped a lot of people to overcome depression and practically cure it. But only if people keep it up for a lifetime. The theory behind it is that we live in a society where we are so isolated, don't get enough sun, don't get enough exercise Etc but our bodies are still designed for the hunter-gatherer societies that we once lived in and he lays out a program to help people overcome depression. He is a researcher at Kansas University. I can't remember his name at the moment. But I bought the book and started putting everything into place that I could at this point. My biggest problem is not being able to physically do the exercise he recommends at this point. Anyway I just thought I would recommend it to you as something to look into. I know what you're feeling. Those thoughts, those feelings, that wanting to just end it. When we feel like that, we don't really want to die. We just don't want to be in pain anymore.
