Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Sometimes his power is over shadowed by our grief, but you have to speak louder to him. I know, there are days when I feel like I just can't hear him, but my faith tells me he is there.
Keep your faith!
just saying
Also, when Jesus uttered those words, he was at his most human. Completely, thoroughly engrossed in the pain of human experience. While that moment was real, it was also an illusion. Because Jesus himself was the truest expression of God in human form. He was/is God. But even at that moment, even Jesus's despair made him believe that he was separate from God. Even Jesus doubted.
So you see, even when it hurts so much that we doubt the reality of God, he is with us. Always. Suffering is an inherent part of being in a physical body. But since we are always both spirit and physical, we are always with God.
Take care, and be strong. And know that you are loved and supported.

Be honest with him. Let it out.
There was a girl I was in love with. We took a year off so I could address my depression (divorce, the death of my mom, losing my two daughters to my ex-wife, moving to a new city and the loss of my career dreams). Yeah, it sucked. It took me a year but I am in a nice place, a place I have never been before.
I called her after a year.
She is with a guy who she continues to be wishy-washy about but she is staying with him. They are not married.
I walked away from a family dinner at my brother's house that night with three or four beers. I walked back to the railroad tracks I walked to in high school. The ones I wanted to let the trail hit me. I drank and drank. I yelled at God, let him know exactly how I felt about the matter.
'How dare you take her away from me!' I yelled, drunk with tears streaming down my eyes. 'How dare you let my marriage fail, why would my ex-wife not let you help us! Why did you take my mom! Why did you take my career!'
I was a mess and I was livid. I let him have it.
In the release and the exhaustion that follows pure drunken rage...I let go and asked him for help.
'I am not in control here big guy,' I said. 'I cannot understand what you are doing with me, but you do. Just let me know what you want me to do. I give up.'
Because I am not together with this girl now, I will be moving back to live closer to my two daughters. There is a dream job waiting to be plucked and now a girl who is craving adventure. Hmm, good thing for me she has never gone sailing before and been in a relationship with me.
He is not to be understood. He has a plan for us.

He most certainly didn't love my wife or my mom and dad.
If you want to surive you need to find a reason to live that includes what your needs are and not put God in the equation.
Sorry if that hurts some peoples' feelings but that is what I believe.
God has abandoned us so we're on our own.
I dont mean to come across as mean but it seems your 'communication with God' isnt helping you. Try things like excercie, a better diet, goals for each day. There are techniques out there for dealing with this, try something else, I dare you.
I'll let you know when. I asked this question about every three years "when"!!!! Well, after 10 years we had a little girl!!! About a year after a year, I ended up in the hospital in a coma, paralized, and my husband was going off the deep end!!Well, our little girl is 3 now and we are getting a divorce- my husbands choice!!!
I believe that I came out a better person from the marriage, even if it was miserable, and a sweet little girl!!!!!
I believe things happen for a reason, you just have to look for it!!!
