Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
God does not want you to die. The mission you speak of is in your mind.
"No one saves us but ourselves. No one can and no one may. We ourselves must walk the path." ~ Buddha

Emotional death is an immanent part of continued living. But how do we define what life is? Perhaps the answers lay within the confines of the imprint of love each of us have. When we love, and draw ourselves to love and those likeable to it. We are more able to see it, feel it and receive it. You ARE LOVED. Look for it.... even if it's just peering right outside of your window. Look for it.
I wish that God would snap his/her fingers and make all our lives better. But I know it does not work that way. I pray for the wisdom to hear God's words and the strength to follow them.

Were you able to go inpatient or get therapy via a clinic (some offer free or services on a sliding scale fee)?
Your environment is hardly condusive to a good state of mind. I think there would be resources reasonably close to where you live that would help you in more ways than one.
Perhaps if you can find a way to leave this "mess"....your spirit and soul will be lifted.
Here is the poem..."Footprints" in case you've never seen it...
