Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Take some time to try this (it can help re-direct your energies productively)
-Lay down perfectly flat in a very comfortable, darkened room. Close your eyes.
-Just breathe in and out, consciously and deeply. Get your BP down.
-Start to list GOOD things---they can be in any category you like---GOOD things about yourself can give you the biggest boost.
-List three, then five, then ten things. Don't be in a hurry, be honest about it.
By the time you get to about ten, you'll find it's easier, AND you will feel calmer and better able to focus ON WHAT YOU WANT to get done tonight.
That's when you can give yourself permission to just let him go for a few hours/ until after school/ next week, whenever.
Big calming hugs and a nice something hot and soothing to drink...
Maybe you need to put on your mental armour?
He's an adult. Helping him should not mean you have to jeopardize your chances in school.
Oh and SuyB you can definitely be a part of my maimin' posse!
SBOOM, I'm glad that you realize you deserve better. You are worthy of finding true love. This jerk doesn't know what love is all about, he thinks with his penis because he has nothing between his ears. Men like him has no respect for women and uses them whenever he gets a chance. Stay as far away from him as possible, and if you find out he's with another girl, it's your duty as a woman to warn her of his character. Without putting yourself in contact with him.
HUGS to you, for dropping the jerk
