I agree and am having a bad year and 1/2 :( . I dont really see a end to it right now, but I am hopeful that things will change.

I was drawn to your topic because I saw anger. I have always heard that depression is anger turned inward and boy have I been angry lately--big time. My medication was recently changed from Celexa to Elavil and all of a sudden I am angrier than I have ever been before. And I have been cursing a lot which I don't normally do. Maybe it is not such a bad thing if I can channel it into to some useful activity like cleaning house. Stay tuned.

Oh woe is you!! I'm sorry for the pit you find yourself in. Oh look over there - its a ladder to begin climbing your way out :-)

I did bring up anger in the AA meeting and got lots of feedback. Talking about climbing the ladder, we have a saying in AA, "If you are digging yourself into a hole, stop digging." We also have a scenario of walking down the street and falling into a hole. When we can be aware of this, we can walk down a different street. I still want to channel my anger into positive activity.

Please don't ever be sorry for needing to rant and rave. That is what we are here for and if you can't do it here, you can't do it anywhere. Besides computer problems that drive me into a different depression, I have been feeling just as you have hon. I had to go to the doctor because I was having terrible insomnia, and then sleeping up to 21 hours a day and still felt tired. Of course that kept me from getting a darn thing accomplished. Yes, I too, am sick and tired of being sick and tired, but what keeps me going is remembering those 2 days that I had a blast and even made other people smile and laugh. Please don't ever say you are sorry for needing to ramble and rant, okay? Hugs GB
