my brother starts a job on the 7th!!!!
its a little bit depressing too tho... it was a friend of mine that offered him a job in the field i used to work, back when i had 2 good arms... and i guess they were both hesitant to tell me about it, because well, in a perfect world, the job offer woulda gone to me...
but facts are facts and the fact is i cant really do the job cause its a 2 handed job... so im gonna do my best to get over the depressing part of it and just rejoice that my brother got a job! and i dont even have to drive him there!!!!!
now to find one for me...
a friend wants work done around his house for the next couple weeks... he doesnt pay very much, but, honestly, i dont need all that much right this second... just enough to live... and its helping a good friend whos helping me in the process... so thats a good thing too... and when that work is done, i'll go to the local gas stations or whatever and see what i can find
im trying to get on disability tho (no progress there yet, just more doors slammed in my face)... so i dunno what kinda job i can actually get...
i THINK i can make $13,000 a year without it affecting my disability case... thats about $250 a week... and i can live on that for now... i could easily make it till my disability case goes through with that kinda money... heck, ive been living on half that for years
then if the disability comes through i could keep the crap job and/or take some classes to get a better job and get off disability
that would be nice

I am so happy for you and your Brother. I hope it works out and he likes it. Now he can start to help you like you have been helping him. Do you have to take him to work each day? How will he get to work?

they do have a training program for the unemployed but you can only use it once and i did that 20 years ago... thats how i learned the skills to start my business back when i had it
but once i have a lil cash coming in, with the time to do something about it, i can learn new skills and either open another business (maybe doing computer repairs) or get a job with someone else... im not that worried about that... i just need to relieve some pressure for a while so i can
so hopefully i can get on disability for a year or two and then get back off of it as fast as i can
i guess we'll just have to see
i was at a friend's house today, and his son's girlfriend backed into my truck... caving in the door
bleh
they're gonna replace it for me, cause theres a couple creases in it... but i wont be able to put it on for a couple years, till i can paint the truck

I hope that it works out for you to do some work for your friend to make some money and I sure hope the disability will go through.. I have read on this site from others that it is sometimes a long frustrating process which I know is so unfair and it sucks.. but keep on keeping on like you always do.. and you really do have such a great attitude .
you are a great friend to me and to others here. I wish you the best always.. you know I do. I wish you didn't suffer the pain that you do in your arm. :((
