This is the first time I have posted on this site. I am usually over on the Breakups/Divorce site but decided to venture here because most of you probably know what works for you, or have some idea how I feel. Basically, I know I am depressed over the breakup of my marriage. I was a stay at home mom, found out he was cheating with a co-worker, decided to try counselling only to find out the affair never ended. I filed for divorce in Feb and was finalized this May but we still live in the same house as our assets and custody arrangement still need to go to trial.
I see my life in the toilet for lack of a better term. I finally found a job, that pays shit, but at least its a job. I don't sleep, don't eat much, I always want the best for my kids and I am trying to do it all and burning myself out in the process. I live in a place where I have no friends or family nearby, so I work, come home and try to get everyone where they need to be. My kids are 7 and 3 and yes, I do individual counselling and I am on medication to help me cope. While things are better than a year ago, I still feel behind the 8 ball. My finances stink and I don't know where to go and be able to afford a place, as one kid is in daycare and one in before/after care which is killing me or I cannot afford on my own. Just found out my health insur premiums are going up substantially to the point where I don't know if I can afford them. I feel so alone, and hide a lot. I cry when nobody is around...just sit and break down, like today. I feel I am at the end of my rope and I have struggled and tried but I just want to give up. Any suggestions or others feel this way.

Is your ex helping with finances? They are his children too, and he must share the expenses of caring for them. Make sure that he realizes this. This is where lawyers come in handy; even though his lawyer is supposed to fight for him, they need to remind him that he can't cheat on his obligations to his children.
I hear you about the ins. Hubby works for a college, no raise in 6 years but ins keeps going up so his pay is going down. It sucks the big one.
What about the ex hubby?? Why isnt he helping with support of the kids??? Make him pay for child care & ins., at least help out with it.
