me all depressed yesterday, with it being a little over 2 weeks I put my 20 year old cat to sleep....and then all depressed over feeling powerless about the lowlife scumbag neighbors leaving their cat behind when they moved.
today saw cat with bloody gash behind its ear, after gash above its eye----so I called the cops....cops of course did zero, since no evidence cat was owned by scumbags who abandoned it; no paper trail of where they bought it or any vet trips.
I got cat into my landlord's hallway---told idiot sitting on steps not to let cat out----he and other idiot did just that.
so, I went psycho, yelling and cursing, especially when woman asked me my name and I said "F%#* you---that's my name!" Stomped up steps as loud as I could, and slammed doors.
Landlord a cat person, so he nicely told me to calm down, when I called him to tell him what happened, including that I had no shame about it.
This is a rural slum neighborhood, bunch of drunks, petty thieves, etc, and now it was my turn to flip out, over a cat!

A tree outside where I live is dying, seemingly from dog urine----with the bully in my building going out his way to not only have his dog urinate there but to have the dog urinate on the fence and sign I bought to try save the tree----and then slide the sign under my apt door.Turns out that was a TRIGGER for me----bullying and humialtion right out of high school. I feel totally exhausted from this day, starting with a 12 block walk to dr for a urinalysis, after prior test was "abnormal" doing without coffee, ice cream, soda, meat for a better test hasn't helped my mood?:)
still depressing how cats are treated different from dogs, legally---a person can legally abandon a cat they let outside.
tomorrow try this again, hopefully with better results.

SIgh, there should be a test people have to pass before they can own pets, or have children!
as though some black comedy, dr Strangelove/the fortune cookie, today I bumped into somebody who can barely afford one cat---but wants another, or a dog, to keep the first cat company.
he tells me he couldn't afford the one hundred dollars down my vet wanted in advance, to look at a cat that died a few years ago.
and, when he lived across the street from me, around 2007, he went to atlantic city, hoping to win his back rent----and lost whatever money he did have, playing roulette!
