Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
i dont have any advice on the subject tho.. but i'll be reading this to see if others do
Please don't keep it bottled up anymore. That is going to make your depression and pain continue to hurt you. We WANT to help you and support you. Otherwise we would not be here.
And please take two words out of your vocabulary. The first one is guilt, and the second one is selfish. So, how can we help?
For you: Be the kind of person that when your feet hit the ground each morning, the devil says " Oh crap he's up"!!
Hugs GB
I feel a huge amount of guilt when I need to talk to someone, even on here. I suppose it stems from feeling as though you are not worth a persons time...but you have to believe that you are worth the time. There are lots of people, particularly here, that would relate to this feeling, I'm sure.
You can message me any time, you don't have to worry about bothering me, you are not a bother.
I hope you (and everyone else) finds the personal courage to abandon that courage and gets to LIVE today. Not exist - but LIVE.
Learning to write in a diplomatic way or a way that softens the issue just a tad might assist in you writing posts which might be a bit heavy or strong.
There is no need to feel guilty, just use common sense.
I appreciate the post, and I applaud you for bringing this issue out in the open.
