Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I am so sorry you felt suicidal at all, let alone at such a young age. I also have depression and the same anxiety disorders as you, along with other stuff. Your physical health issues would cause anyone anxiety and depression. Perhaps you can give yourself some credit for handling them as well as you have. You are not alone in having problems finding good, affordable health care in today's world, if that's any consolation.
I just googled support groups for parents who lost a child, and many links come up. There may be such a support group near where you live, and perhaps you can make some good friends who understand and appreciate you. I have never lost a child, but I know it is considered one of the hardest types of grief to have to deal with. No one in my family "gets" me so I just stay away from them at this point. If you can find even one true friend it can make such a difference.
My meds and talk therapy help me, as does prayer.
I hope you have a good day, and find the emotional support and medical care you need.
