Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Think of all the milestones in your children's lives you will miss being a part of. Think of all the good times to be had. You are young and still have a lot of life left in you. You just have to reach way down and find it. It's there. I promise it is!
If you need someone to talk to, vent to or anything in between, please feel free to let me know. Sometimes venting to a stranger is the best thing to do.
I do hope you begin to see the light at the end of your tunnel soon!
ConfusedButterflyToo, is right in all she/ he says.. I hope you can find a way through this difficult period..Everything becomes skewed the more we sink into deep depression.. I like others here, have lived it and continue to do so.. The main thing is not to isolate yourself from others to much...Yes it's good to be alone at times, but isolating when in deep, will only make matters worse...You have to reach out to others, for the sake of your children and yourself.. Peace, love and lights to you and your family x
As human beings we all want to be happy and free from misery.
We have learned that the key to happiness is inner peace.
The greatest obstacles to inner peace are disturbing emotions such as
anger and attachment, fear and suspicion,
while love and compassion, a sense of universal responsibility
are the sources of peace and happiness.

Though our situations are different (I'm never married, have no children), I just relate so much to nearly everything you say.
I "feel" you, girlfriend.
