Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I feel like a burden to my husband for having depression and all the mood swings that come along with that (taking out my frustration on him by yelling, crying, anxiety, etc.) I know that he wouldn't have to deal with this level of instability in his life if I wasn't his wife. I told him before we got married that I struggle with these things, but I don't think you really understand until you live with someone. I'm scared to have kids with him one day because I don't want them to have to grow up with a depressed mom. Constantly feel inferior and not good enough for him, even though he tries to tell me otherwise.
Does anyone else feel this way? What do you do to stop feeling guilty and like you're burdening the people in your life?
