Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

My mood has been really good lately! Was feeling suicidal a week ago but during this past week not even a thought of it has crossed my mind. I haven't cut in 9 days (which is a huge accomplishment). I started a new job which has really helped with my self confidence.
I'm just so scared of being sad again. It's always on my mind. The happy times don't seem to last long and the bad times seem to have a deeper, lasting impact on me.

Happy to hear you're feeling better. Hold on to that hope and live one day at a time.

It's great to hear that you are feeling better and not self harming! Stay focused on the present moment...worrying about the future can cause anxiety, so just enjoy every moment of feeling better!

Great to hear you are feeling better and things are looking up! Perspective relates 100%. Keep your focus on all the good you've been blessed with. We got to take this life one day at a time. When you have a low day, remind yourself that tomorrow has brand new potential and those low feelings are not permanent. Acknowledge them and let them go. Keep on keeping on!

It's National Doughnut Day!Which three would you like? (never mind the calories, fat, or sugar content; just go with what you would pick if none of that mattered and whatever health issues you might have that would keep you from eating one in real life can be cast aside for this exercise as well... have at it!)
