I'm not feeling well today. I am feeling rather frustrated with myself. I don't know why I am such a screw up. I've made some bad decisions that are coming back to bite me in the you know where. I guess you could say I hate working or at least most of the jobs I've had. The few jobs that I actually liked, well I got laid off from them cause the companies moved. One was Doubleday books, I was doing data entry work, I got some nice perks working for them. One big one was the monthly book/merchandise sale offered to the workers. We got a chance to buy books and merchandise for half or more than half the price the members got them for. Nice building, work hours and nothing but shade in the parking lot (plenty of spaces to park too) but they relocated to Indianapolis. I got a job at a library circulation desk. (back when you could talk to someone about a job and not have to go through an obstacle course like now) I left that job because of family issues, having to move away.
I have moments when I am happy, then moments I want to just go to sleep and not wake up. I just feel so lost. As most of you know I've said over and over how I hate working for Home Depot. The working conditions have gotten worse. Very unbearable. I feel frustrated after I received two rejection letters in my e mail. One from Barnes and Noble and the other from Walgreens. I doubt they even looked at my resumes. The way things work these days these companies will just send a form letter saying they looked at the resume, but have decided to go with other candidates.
I don't know where I belong anymore.

Is there someplace you can volunteer doing something you really like until you get a Yes, because I know you will. In the meantime, build up your contacts and skills while helping others - those you help will honestly appreciate your efforts and strengths, and it can be a great way to meet people and get your foot in the door.
Don't feel too bad... I got fired from Home Depot, if that makes you feel any better. They sent a secret shopper through my line and I missed some items by accident, and I called in sick a couple times on probation. So yeah, that sucked.... Stick through it and try and enjoy your time spent not as work as much as you can. Hugs <3
