Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
And what I've written above is how I feel, so I certainly get the pain and frustrations she feels. I feel bad for her, wish I could help.
I accepted person will never receive what i want her to get. Its probably better that way.
The sadness and pain you feel are like an infection. Can an infection be covered up. No..............
No, one way or the other it has to be opened and cleaned out or it has to be killed with a drug.
DaisyGirl has a point in wanting to find out more. We can help you more if you tell us more.
By the way Cindy, I live in the same general area as you. We may or may not see each other but hopefully you try to get some insight/ help here.
Hitler was right mentally ill people shouldnt be alive. The world shits on you when you are mentally disabled. They see everyone as psychotic.
Nothing can change a thought more, than knowing others do care. Total strangers who want to know you and help.
I would never hurt anyone. Just myself. I would go away to do that.
I hate scum bag ex. I should have seen his plans all along but i was too stupid. Worse thing i did was leave. It only got worse.
Your situation is desperate and you feel you have nothing to live for.
You aim to make tomorrow your last day? You say people don't listen and won't hear your story. We are trying to.
Today is not Halloween talk to me and us today. I have an afternoon free just for you.
I am just returned to work after a serious psychotic episode and feel Hitler could have been slightly wrong. LOL
I hope you will forgive me.
Are you in process of a legal proceeding?
Irregardless, DS is a safe space where you may vent and with whom you will have many supportive people to help you.
Shame almost did me in.
Guilt is just as hurtful and just as toxic. But whatever you did or didn't do I am happy to sit with you.
If the events of what happened did not, and you feel bad about what almost happened, may I suggest that there IS HOPE FOR YOU. There was no hope for Hitler.
As far as eugenics is concerned, I don't play that game. Genetics is important to consider-to a point, but so is environment. Rread about Dr. Jimmy Fallon. His MRI scans showed the brain of a sociopath and yet he has never desired to be destructive. Why? Dr. Fallon was brought up in a stable and loving home which socialized him. Thus, genetics was trumped.
As well, many mad people have gone on to be famous artists, poets and visionaries of our age. Eugenics is wrong.
Realize your intrinsic worth as a human being. Feel grief over whatever you did wrong, but not toxic shame. Take steps to do what is responsible. Begin to heal by using medications, support groups and even 12 step groups. There will be crying, wailing and evne pounding of your fists on the floor, but eventually you will learn to take care of yourself and find that you are a real human being with feelings.
To boot, eventually you might even be able to speak about your experience and advocate--you don't know.
We are all survivors and we can all make a difference. Don't let society...dont' let an abusive person.......tell you who you are. Your guilt tells you that you have a conscience. Your guilt is a motivator NOT to end it all but to go forward and do better......
Don't go gentle into that good night...Rage rage against the dying of the light.
Broken but still standing.
Tell yourself: Every single day I live is an act of rebellion.
