I am so sorry you are in so much pain. I am virtually holding you and telling you it can be alright again. I am gay too and remember how hard that is to be in school.
I had many other issues that i am in therapy and on meds for but I understand that lowest of low feelings. I just lost my wife of twenty years to cancer this past Sept, and have had many thoughts myself.

It can get better. Call your therapist if you feel suicidal, or call the gay hot lines to talk with others who know how you feel.

There are resources out there for you. What ever city and state you live in, go online and look for the resources for lesbians, and for depression and suicide.

I know it feels awful some times, but it won't feel that way forever.

Thank you for sharing. Depression does lead to shame and hiding. Most of what we say to ourselves is worse then what anyone else can say, but their words do still hurt. That means listening to the voices that do care and don't judge. I am happy to be among them. We will grow in number, if you give us a chance. Please give us that chance. Thank you and God Bless.

When my kids were 5-6 and I was first telling them about sex, I made it clear to them that I would love them just the same even if they became heterosexual.

And yes, I put it just like that. Because homosexual isn't some second place, second best sort of thing.

If anything it needs more support, more love, more acceptance.

It's tough being a teen. And tougher being a gay teen...anywhere.

Hi Hawke- I'm sorry that you are having a hard time. We are here and we care for you.

Please be kind to yourself. To make you feel less lonely and alone, try to join a group of people that you can meet regularly in person, the members of this group are facing same issues, they come together and learn to cope with what they are experiencing. Most of the local churches have support group or try your community website, I hope you will be encouraged and feel better.
