Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
So now I just try to stick my energy into the few tried and true people in my life and everyone else is "just fun" and I don't take them seriously and end up hurt way less often.
that takes enough of your strength.
and it is not being mean, just survival...and i you are not a friend to yourself, you cannot be a friend to anyone else. so just take the time you need to heal...then try to help others when it doesnt drain you so much...
so heal yourself and dont let anyone drag you down weaker...

i forgot to add ,
never let anyone use you ,none of us have the strength for that ever.
but if someone is a kind person, needing help. try to help them.
the good people will not try to drain you , and will give back as much as they take.
that is when a friendship is rewarding.
for all involved.

very quickly. I am still trying to establish boundaries and learn how to say NO.
on. I am very giving, so others just keep
taking. I need to learn to put myself first, not last. That is called self-esteem, not selfishness.
