My friend Lauren has clinical depression and has been struggling with it for years now.
She doesn't live in the best situation and now she's been kicked out of her house and lives in her car now.

I need all of you to say a prayer and keep her in your thoughts because she's facing a harsh life alone and needs help.

She really needs support right now and honestly it brings me to tears to see this happen to her.

She needs your prayers and support and it's extremely important.

I forgot to mention that she would also like you all to keep her 3 cats in your thoughts and prayers as well. They're the only companion she has to help her through her depression.

Sorry this is happening to so MANY ppl, I was just reading today on Yahoo about the poverty here in America. Im very saddened and at times angry about the way so many of us are getting the short end of the stick here..it shouldn't be that way here in America!

and 3 cats living with her in her car? I think she needs to check out a church and see what they can do to put her in contact with some help...she just can't sit out there with three cats in her car and hope everything is going to be ok.

Prayers are kind, but action is more appropriate. Social Services, a women's shelter, Salvation Army, a church group, a food pantry...all of these sources might be able to help this woman.

Keeping three cats in a car is not taking proper care of them, so perhaps friends could care for them until this young woman can find a place to live where she can care for them properly.

Does she have friends who can pool resources to give her a few days in a low-cost motel? Can she rotate among friends for a short time, just so she has a safe place to live?

Kicked out of the house and lives in her car. What a pity. I've heard of ppl. getting kicked out. Unless their just a dope head or mean, theres no excuse for that. NOBODY NEEDS BEING KICKED WHEN THEIR DOWN , THEY NEED BEING HELD AND ASSURANCE SHES LOVED. Prayers going up.

Prayers for Lauren and the Cats. I really hope she gets herself into a shelter. And the idea about the cats maybe being with a friend or friends would be great. But you know what is possible and what is not. Above all else her well being is what matters. You're a good friend Harvey.

I don't know how she's doing. She hasn't picked up the phone at all.
Also, to those saying get her practical help, that's very hard to do but I sent some texts saying go to a church or community center.

I don't know how comfortable she is with me talking in public like this, so I'm being reasonable with the details of course.

When I say the cats are the only companions she has, I really do mean that. She's facing a real hard time right now and I hope she can find what she needs.
