Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
If I remember, it worked rather well and rather quickly for me. Side effects were minimal, slight headache in the beginning.
Best of luck to you.
I was previously on Zoloft, which worked great on my anxiety but left me puffy, tired/sleepy all the time, and generally unmotivated. Effexor helped get me up in the morning. (and I wasn't getting out of bed due to depression on zoloft, I just couldn't get my body and mind to meet in a way so I would just lay there and then be late for work and somehow didn't care.)
One thing I did notice on the Effexor was that when I get overly tired, I start to twitch and can't sit still. The only thing that helps is going to sleep. Which isn't a bad thing..i feel like it's sort of forcing me to listen to my body when it's bedtime.
But the last 5 months I starting to feel numb and really depressed.
I rescently relocated from MN to AZ due to health issues(SAD). I am wondering what I should try next.
I find it to be effective.
