I am trying to comment to this but my grand kids are all over me. I will try at another time. Anger is part of the grieving process. You seem to like books, go get one on suicide or help when someone else does it.
.
I have lost someone to suicide before, that is a terrible pain. I hope you find the right kind of help.

Try to take care of yourself if you can. Take a hot bath, watch a heartfelt movie, that sort of thing. Get another counselor to talk to you if the one you have sucks.
If you have some friends, draw them close to you.
Hugs,
RIB
I have trouble lately staying interested in long novels - so much filler. Short stories and novellas are more enjoyable to me right now.
Getting older is difficult. Having a lot of interests and hobbies is fun.
You know you've found the right thing for you, when you are constantly
thinking about how you'll do something, jotting down ideas, etc.
Maybe you could find a funny movie to watch after reading the grief- recovery handbook.
I am not new to depression, but I found that when I try to keep my mind off of it then I think about it more. But I think that was a good thing actually, to face it. I realized I was not actually grieving them, I was grieving my loss, my loneliness, my pain. IT is hard to deal with, therapy will help. Please be kind to yourself while you wait for a therapist. Just remember what ever the reason was that caused their pain to be so deep is over now, and they are at peace. I know that doesn't help the pain you feel much, but knowing they feel peace might off something. Warm hugs and best wishes to you.
I am i a dark place now and grieving for my dad who died of cancer in august. It helps me to journal. I try to put one thing i am grateful of or one thing i hope for in the furure.
I also find the weekends difficult. I have isolated myself because my depression makes me believe i wont have the energy to be with people. Or that no one would want to spend time with me. Are there any groups you could join? Something you enjoy so you'd have a common interest with others. I have 2 rescue greyhounds and 2 westies. They get me out and people stop to chat. It stops me isolating. Our lixal rescue centre are always looking for dog walkers. It may help as dogs have no expectations and give so much love. Xx
I wish you a good day...and let the waves of grief come as surely as they will go.
Just know there are people here to be supportive and compassionate. We are behind you to hug you and hold you up.
