Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

Being in the black hole of depression makes one feel lonely, frightened and worried all the time. Pain is felt beyond what one can say. This is too much for others without mental illness to understand, comprehend. One has to hang on to "Hope," when in the deep, dark claws of the black hole of depression. You're not alone mal.
Hope you feel better soon.
I think you should talk to new people !
Life is life... it was a gift and then it gets warped and twisted. However, it is my life so I choose to try to fix it. I hope that you feel the same.
I'm pretty sure I used the Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde example a few days ago, too. At present, I'm just trying to minimize the intensity of my two extremes. I've also started taking meds. Writing angry journals helps too.
When I was in hospital for my heart,I met a lovely lady.. Full of life and energy dispite being in hospital, well to shorten this..
she found out whilst there that she had terminal cancer...
I prayed sincerely that God would take my life in exchange for hers.
Of course it would be awful for my children, but she had children too and she could have got so much more from life than me!
It wasnt to be. I am still here and I am trying to get more from life so it doesnt feel in vain.....not doing very well. I'm on the same meds too. Takes the edge off.
I hope that you are able to find a suitable one for you. I hope you will keep fighting the dark and reach out.. Try and take some little thing in the day that makes you smile and grasp it with both hands!
Snow drops are blooming here and I take a little pleasure from knowing spring isnt far away..
Hugs to you.
