Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

ok, so i've had a good couple of days where i've been feeling ok, but now it is back. I'm so tired and i can't do anything. I don't know if it's a stupid thing to think, but someone that i know keeps using the phrase 'thats so depressing' or 'i'm feeling depressed right now.' i know she may actually be feeling like that and i'd try to support her if she did, but it's always about things like having no wifi or having 11 months till it's her birthday again. I don't think she really means it, and i feel bad for saying this but it makes me quite angry really that people use menta ilnesses as adjectives. Am i being stupid? I don't know. But it's kind of like a trigger in away. When i'm out i try to forget about it as much as possible, but it's really hard when someone keeps saying the word. I don't know what to say, without telling her i have depression or coming off as mean. i would like her to stop, but i don't know how to say it.

It's National Doughnut Day!Which three would you like? (never mind the calories, fat, or sugar content; just go with what you would pick if none of that mattered and whatever health issues you might have that would keep you from eating one in real life can be cast aside for this exercise as well... have at it!)
