Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

People turn into middle-schoolers in groups. The most aggressive are usually the most disturbed. Fear of being left out (middle school) and the need to impress (middle school) perpetuate aggression.
You shouldn't let the bad apples - even a bunch of them - influence your choices. People can disagree without getting personal or vicious, but not that often in groups.

I sent you a private message. Don't give up you are well liked here. Hugs GB
you know most people will not encourage one to leave they just ignore.....could be looked at as a blessing which unlike a used lottery ticket is not.
I have been told to leave a few times but that was in a bar and i was being a dick. quick trip to the police station and flushed out later...now days it takes days to get out so no more of that.
Socialization comes in many forms....I guess they didn't want to socialize with you....kind of like my girlfriend being told that because we were not married that she could not sing in the C-mass choir this church had......
Yep last time we were there. never going back either.....

Someone on the news recently was discussing a different mental health problem. He said, "If you don't have this, you will never fully understand how it affects your life."
The CL couldn't have been nicer - just gave you his opinion, based on experience. You seemed fine with it. You even suggested he close your post, but then came on this board and complained.
Does that seem reasonable to you?
